I have a bit of a headache today and it’s one of those that come when you wake up and don’t really ever leave, which is just depressing and frustrating. Add that to the fact that I’m spending the morning captioning videos (a deviously tedious task, yet oddly satisfying) and I find that I need a break from the noise (even if it is talking about cool old cars) and write a bit here.
One of my goals for this year (this “time” really as I’m not that in to doing resolutions only once a year) is to write more. So here I am! Slightly headachy and wishing I had a 3 wheeled car (though I wouldn’t trade Petunia for the world.)
Over the weekend N and I went on a fabulous bike trail that I would love to do again before it gets too hot to handle. I’m not going to lie, there was much pushing of the bike, but not as much as I was expecting. At one point I sat down in the dirt and took in the view while my chest stopped trying to escape my body. It was gorgeous.
I finally am over the plague that seems to be hitting everyone this year (everyone except N, who has miraculously escaped its claws – even with me sneezing all over the house and scaring the cats.) As such, my new years “work off all those Christmas Cookies” can commence again. March…..January…. same difference right? Hopefully that will even mean some new canyons coming up soon, hikes and bikes and enjoying the California weather.
That’s all for now.
